MEG’S PRECIOUS was released on September 17th, 2008. It’s her 13th single.

PRECIOUS begins like a lot of MEG’s other songs, starts out quietly and sings the chorus then goes into the normal song. But, PRECIOUS stood out for me because it sounds a lot different than MAGIC and HEART. It actually has a little acoustic guitar here and there. Often times MEG sounds dead, but that’s not very much in this song. But anyway, it’s still MEG’s trademark synth and vocoder. If you haven’t seen the PV go look at it now… xD It’s so funny. KATZFTW.

I read that CANDY was a lot like Perfume’s Macaroni (from their double A-Side Baby cruising Love / Macaroni.) Let’s just say I was surprised… and then some. not only does it sounds like Macaroni, MEG’s voice is void of ANY vocoder. It doesn’t sound bad, but her voice sounds really monotone in this one, and the music a lot more bor4ing than Macaroni. Stick to synthpop MEG, pl0x.

I really like the end of summer mix of PRECIOUS. It takes a lot of the synth out and adds a lot of aoucstic guitar. There’s a wee bit of synth, but it’s mainly beeps and dings. I actually kind of like the remix better than the original.
