HEART – MEG

Tracks:

1. HEART

2. NATALIE <FM16 MIX>

3. HEART <PARTY MIX>

MEG’s HEART was released on May 7th, 2008. It’s her 12th single and charted at #26 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Charts, selling 3,416 copies in its first week.

Hee. c: HEART is so catchy! It begins immediatly with MEG saying “heart~” and the beat quickly follows after her. I really like the combination of the beepy synth and the heavy beat. The chorus is really catchy when she says “doki doki doki meki, communication~.” I don’t know what else to say about this song, other than that since she’s produced by Yasutaka, there’s the vocoder involved.

The FM16 MIX of NATALIE is actually not all that bad. It’s not as good as HEART but it still nice. More vocoder, and synth, that’s all there really is to say. xD On a side note, there’s an original version of NATALIE on her latest album STEP.

The PARTY MIX of HEART opens with a somewhat long instrumental beat, but that soon changes into something really synthy. All this remix does is add synth it up some more, but it doesn’t mess it up or make it sound cluttered, a lot better than the first remix.

  1. You know, I always thought she said Hi, instead of heart.
