Itsuka Hanareru Hi ga Kite mo – Ken Hirai

Tracks:

1. Itsuka Hanareru Hi ga Kite mo

2. Itsuka Hanareru Hi ga Kite mo (less vocal)

Ken Hirai’s Itsuka Hanareru Hi ga Kite mo was released on April 23rd, 2008. It’s his 29th single and peaked at #19 on the oricon charts, selling 7,933 copies in its first week. The title track was used as the opening theme for the movie Ano Sora wo Oboeteru.

I don’t know why I decided to review Itsuka Hanareru Hi ga Kite mo, before his album… I don’t care. I like the cover anyway. ;D Ken’s voice is probably at his best and he shows it. He kicked in his ballad voice for this REALLY long song, clocking in at 6:35. I felt that the instruments could’ve been a little more… you know… out there. It seemed really quiet and I wish it was something like Elegy. But other than that it’s good.
